The territory has a unique character in terms of city-planning within the context of the historic center of Riga, where the history of urban and economic development for almost two centuries has been represented. In addition to the reconstruction of historically valuable objects, it is planned to build a new building in the territory, forming a multifunctional business complex of around 40,000 m2, consisting of "A" class offices, a hotel and commercial premises. The offer's motto — reclaiming the kimmel quarter — reflects the basic idea of "returning" or "giving back" to the city an active use of a whole quarter of the historic center. The proposal is characterized by the contemporary architectural features of Northern Europe, the use of the inner courtyards of Riga and the use of local materials in façades. The proposal is developed in collaboration with the world-famous Danish architectural practice "Henning Larsen Architects".
