The objective of the Dobele Music School reconstruction project was to establish a fresh meeting point for culture and education, while also fostering the vibrancy of an inclusive and innovative cultural space, while integrating cultural, historical, and natural elements. With utmost respect for the existing structure, a new building has been designed to meet the contemporary requirements of cultural education.
The redevelopment project for Dobele Music School consists of two main components. The first entails the renovation of the historic building, primarily housing classrooms and the school’s administrative offices. The second component involves the construction of a modern new building that encompasses a rehearsal hall and a concert hall.
The goal of the Dobele Music School reconstruction project is to create a renewed hub for cultural and educational activities in the Dobele district. This aims to stimulate the accessibility and creativity of the cultural space, while seamlessly incorporating cultural, historical, and landscape values. By upholding the integrity of the existing building to the greatest extent possible, a contemporary and modern educational institution has been brought to fruition.
