The golf course clubhouse complex separates the golf course area from the access and parking areas with its curved elongated volume. The building houses the golf club reception, changing rooms, a restaurant, and a hotel with 18 rooms. The architectural character of the clubhouse is created by timber-framed structures, decorative wooden details, and extensive glazing.
In 2018, Jūrmala Golf Course in Saliena reopened after undergoing an extensive renovation. It is the first golf course in the Baltics designed by the world-renowned golf course design firm Niklaus Design.
Between 2015 and 2017, Mark Architects designed the complex construction project based on sketches provided by the US architectural firm Perkins & Will. Under the supervision of the author, the building was completed and put into operation at the end of 2018.
