Kalnciema Business Center

Two administrative buildings, which were built in the second half of the 20th century, are situated on a plot of land at the junction of Lielirbes Street and Kauguru Street, near Kalnciema Bridge. MARK Arhitekti’s proposal is to transform the site into a modern “B” class office complex by creating a new visual image for the buildings, insulating the facades, and redesigning the interior spaces. The core of the solution is a new entrance hub that will unify the previously unconnected entrances of the two buildings into a single lobby during the reconstruction. Additionally, the project will involve the redevelopment of two other warehouse buildings on the same site.
